You know the old joke, "People who drive slower than me are morons, people who drive faster than me, idiots."
My friend, Jodi Feller, was in a horrible motorcycle accident yesterday. Someone swerved over into her lane and took out Jodi, and some of her friends and family, all who were on motorcycles. This woman ran two other cars off the road a couple miles before she decided to take out some Motorcyclists. So, what was her reason? It couldn't be an accident, she wasn't drunk, she wasn't on drugs....why would a 29 year old woman cause so much chaos, and pain? Was it road rage? Scared of turning 30? Who knows...
Jodi is a remarkable person. She is a 36 year old woman who has tons of family, excellent business sense, loads of common sense, and has been an avid Harley rider as long as I have known her. She is the top Mary Kay Director in this area, was scheduled to go to Dallas in July, and had won a trip due to her and her units outstanding performance in Mary Kay. I was with her two days before this accident happened. She was great!! Now, she is in a Madison, Wisconsin ( where she was airlifted to) Hospital, with broken ribs, a broken neck, and a broken pelvis. I am a believer in the old saying, "Everything happens for a reason". But I can't seem to comprehend what that might be in this case. Thank goodness there is a Father in Heaven who has a plan for our lives. I pray Jodi will fully heal. Quickly. Please pray for her.. And, watch out for the other driver. The one you least suspect. The one in the lane coming towards you.
