Welcome our new family member, Sylvia Nanjala. Sylvia is a seven year old from Kenya who my husband and I have just sponsored through http://www.fomministries.com/. Sylvia is in first grade, and I pray I am able to go on the mission trip 2009 to meet her for the first time. Sylvia's parents are alive, by the grace of God, but are very poor, and not in good health. The Lord takes my $30 a month, and multiplies it in order to provide Sylvia with an education, medical treatments, clothes, a safe shelter, and the ability to know Jesus. I don't have any children of my own, not biological, but the Lord promised me many spiritual children. I thank God for what he is doing through Fishers of Men Ministries, and how it is not only touching the lives of the children and families of Kenya, but how it is touching the lives of the people in my community. All He asks, is that we may be found faithful, is that our hearts are pure, for every little thing we do, He gives so much in return, if we just do All He Asks.
