This week the annual RAGBRAI was held in Iowa. It was the first time I had ever witnessed it in the 36 years it has been held. The final home town host was LeClaire. We stood on the corner of 15th and Wisconsin Street (OLD ROCKY ROAD) and encouraged the riders. How amazing it was to see people, ( of all races, all shapes, sizes, gender and age, ), who just road across Iowas.. On a bicycle. It was very wonderful. So great, I am thinking about doing it next year. We shall see.
